If you go to the Mahon Library down town, you will find a large number of homeless people. They stick together, I am a single mother and several times God has told me to feed them. I say I dont have anything, anyway I was obediant and went home and I had bread, sandwich meat, chips, cookies, some candy and I made some tea and put it in a jug. I made separate sack lunches, I had brown lunch bags and made several. Well, I was so concerned that I would not have enough, but I did as told. I had just enough, I even went alone, as I handed them out one a couple of men said, I was praying to God and telling Him I was so hungry and had not eaten. Well, even as I write, I am teary. They are so grateful for the smallest meal. Another time on a Saturday morning, again the Lord spoke to me and said go feed them. So again, not very much in the refrigarator, but I had eggs, german sausage, cheese and tortillas. So I made burritos. So, I go alone again and went to the library, they hang out some inside when it is open, but this was before it was open. I took some coffee, and the burritos, there was a hispanic man there that day. I said sir do you want a burrito, you know this is God setting me up, because again the man said, I have been in the streets for so long and I prayed that I could have a nice hot burrito in a tortilla. Okay, well you will be blessed. I have bought socks, gloves, caps, and you can find them for a dollar.....I have given coats...so, this is way that you can bless on this day. I bought my day one holiday a nice flannel that is insulated, well after service one morning me and my daughter went to eat at @ churche's chicken and this man walks up to me and says do you have a dollar to buy me something to eat, I said lets go inside I will buy you something and you can eat with us. He was a guy that went to school with me and we sat and talked. He said that he got throw in jail and lost everything, his own wife disowned him and his family and had no where to go when he got out. He was living in an emplty building, it was cold. He said he was so cold that he walks to stay warm. Well, God said give him that flannel, I did not argue, so I gave it to him, he cried, I told him merry Christmas, God loves you, and I offered my apartment so that he could bathe, I gave him my cell # if he ever needed anything. Well, he never called, but that was such an experience that it stays in your heart forever. God Bless you and all that touch some ones life that needs us.
