Andy:

Thanks for sharing and enlightening me with your post concerning Brad Johnson.

I am very interested to see your take on the situation once you have read some of Brad's blogs.

Please remember, I am not in judgement when asking about Brads state of repentace, but in rebuke mode. I fail to see how one can remain in the relationship that began as adulterous, and be repentiful. While the circumstances have changed due to divorce and have made this relationship not adulterous, what has Brad done to turn, have a change of heart, (repent)?

I see little that edifies his brothers on his blog, I do beleive his apology is sincere however.

You are more qualified to answer this, but I could see how his postings could hurt his ex wife and family and church by posting things about his girlfriend or accusing the church of lacking grace.

I pray I will never stumble in this manner, but I have a hard thinking I would reconcile this sin by blogging about it...I pray I would be more humble in my approach.

In Him

Wow . . . this is a very powerful piece of writing. And, so relevant to Christians "with a past." But, I'm of the opinion that, until you've messed up badly, and, claimed the grace and mercy of Christ's forgiveness, you really don't "know" Him. Until then, you're just an acquaintance, IMHO.

Thank you for using your special gift in this way, Andy.
